Each of these shapes represented how each person in my life views me. People expect different things from me. At the end of the day I am like my background, a mix of different colors but no shape at all. I am a blend of all these perceptions and cannot conform to just one.

The dreaming bubble is what I dream my future is going to be like; full of money, peace, love, and so much more. The yellow symbolizes my fantasies but the red represents reality. We all have our fantasies but reality limits when, where, and how much we can actually make come true.

Many incarcerated individuals are viewed in a negative light by society. The fact is, that some of these individuals are just victims of injustices and went down the wrong path. Majority of these individuals have mental illnesses, have been raped, were orphans, etc. Prisons should be rehabilitation centers instead. I am an advocate for prison reform.

Fictional Character
Tools Used
-Marker
-Glued construction paper to create the line
I created the outline of a short story consisting of a book and a pencil that fall in love. The pencil had been passed around from owner to owner and never felt loved. The pencil finally landed in the hands of an author who would soon write the most famous novel in the world. The pencil finally meets the book that she was writing and they fall in love. One day the author misplaces the pen. Not thinking too much of it, she goes to write with another pencil in her book, but the book refuses to take ink from any other writing object. One day the author is at a coffee shop and the barista gives her the pencil back saying she left it there last time. Finally the pencil and book are back together. The author finishes her novel, get published, and closes the book with the pencil in it and live happily ever after.

Poem
Tools Used
-Marker
I wrote a free verse poem starting off by questioning why there was so much evil and pain in the world. I then proceed to question and picture a world filled with only happiness and positivity. Finally, I conclude that to know the good, we must know the bad and vise versa. I finally understood why there is pain in the world.

I chose to draw a screaming person in light of the fact that when I was researching my sources, all of the information I found out made me want to scream. Every person in my sources probably wanted to scream as well, whether it was in pain, crying, anger, they all most likely wanted to scream.

The color black is what loneliness feels to me. Its a feeling like you're lost and are trapped in the darkness in your mind. I used the yellow to represent how there is always hope for everyone and that someone out there loves and cares about even if we do not realize it.
